The Pearl-Qatar

On the 23 October, 2017, an astronaut flying aboard the International Space Station took this long lens photograph of Doha, the capital city of Qatar, located on the north-eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island spanning approximately 1.5 square kilometers (0.6 square miles), extends from the mainland and is among the first properties in Qatar that can be owned by non-Qataris.
