Minimize Typhoon Jelawat as seen by MetOp-B

This RGB image of Typhoon Jelawat, a few days before it hit Japan, was seen by the AVHRR instrument on the MetOp-B satellite. The image was acquired at 01:20 UTC on 27 September 2012.

Typhoon Jelawat was a category one storm when it made landfall on Japan's main island of Honshu, and injured over a hundred people, caused blackouts and at least one fatality.
