Porquerolles Island, France
The Pleiades satellite acquired this view of Porquerolles Island off the southern coast of France on 4 May 2018.
Porquerolles is the largest of the Hyères - a group of four islands in the Mediterranean - and is classified as part of the nation's Var department.
The island has a single village which is located centrally on the north side of the island, and its port can be seen juting out into the sea. Most of the island is part of Port-Cros National Park which provides a protected area that spans neighbouring Port-Cros island, too.
