The TripleSat satellite takes us over Helsinki in Finland in this optical image from 16 July 2017.
Helsinki is the capital city of Finland and is located on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland.
The city is characterised by its scenic beauty, contemporary architecture, and its prominent landmarks such as Parliament House, the Kiasma Art Museum and the Museum of Natural History. It hosts vibrant sea sides and lush green parks.
We can view the West Harbour of Helsinki in the bottom left side of this image, which is situated in the southwestern part of the Helsinginniemi peninsula. It is a passenger and cargo harbour which includes two passenger terminals - West Terminal 1 and West Terminal 2, respectively. According to Wikipedia, West Terminal 1 is mainly used for passenger ships travelling from Helsinki to Saint Petersburg, whereas West Terminal 2 offers fast travel to Tallinn, Estonia.
