Autumn storm over Europe
This MetOp-B image, acquired by the AVHRR instrument on 16 September 2013, shows frontal activity across west and central Europe. The band of cloud is associated with a well developed low North-East of Scotland. This system brought the first storm of autumn 2013 for many in Western Europe. View the full resolution image.
